The SkySPAN™ Long Span ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) optical cable family is the most robust aerial solution in the series, engineered for demanding long-haul and transmission line environments. Capable of spanning distances up to 500 meters (depending on loading conditions), this cable is designed for high-capacity networks with fiber counts up to 288.
The SkySPAN™ Long Span construction features a double jacket design for maximum mechanical protection. The core utilizes StaticGEL™ technology within SZ-stranded loose tubes, surrounding a central FRP strength member. An inner polyethylene (PE) jacket protects the core, while a heavy layer of aramid yarns between the jackets provides the substantial tensile strength required for long spans. Finished with a durable black PE outer jacket, this cable delivers uncompromising performance in extreme environmental conditions.
