BRISBANE, Australia – November 13, 2025 – ScaleFibre has been approved as a supplier under two of Local Buy’s procurement panels, expanding access to its fibre connectivity systems across Queensland and the Northern Territory.
These appointments make ScaleFibre an approved manufacturer and supplier to Queensland and Northern Territory councils, government-owned corporations, and other eligible entities seeking compliant access to advanced optical fibre connectivity systems.
Through the Electrical & Lighting Supplies (LB299) panel, ScaleFibre provides fibre-optic cables, assemblies, and related hardware for networks across industrial and infrastructure projects. This includes ScaleFibre’s range of optical cables, which are well suited to waste treatment plants, water facilities, transport networks, and public utilities where long service life, mechanical resilience, and compliance with Australian standards are critical.
In parallel, the ICT Solutions (LB308) panel enables eligible buyers to engage ScaleFibre for high-performance connectivity platforms, including modular fibre systems, MPO trunks, patching systems, optical cleaning products, and data centre hardware engineered for scalability and compliance with IEC and Telcordia standards.
“These appointments recognise our commitment to local government and public sector infrastructure,” said Daniel Rose, Chief Executive Officer of ScaleFibre. “We build the passive optical systems that make digital transformation possible with products that are reliable, compliant, and ready to scale.”
Being on these Local Buy panels simplifies procurement for eligible entities, allowing direct engagement with ScaleFibre without open-market tendering. This reduces lead times and ensures compliance with local government purchasing frameworks.
ScaleFibre’s inclusion reflects its position as a manufacturer setting new benchmarks in optical connectivity—delivering quality and repeatability at a scale that supports modern public infrastructure.
